One of Jakes several boats is a family owned L. Francis Herreshoff designed Rozinante.  This is a fiberglass yawl version with teak and mahogany trim built by Kenner in the late 60's .

(Click on a picture to see a larger version!)

The original Rozinante's were offered earlier in a wooden version; some were even later retrofitted as sloops.

The Cabin is set up for daysailing and cruising and facilities are adequate for overnight stays as well.

If you look real close you can see the flying anchor. The oarsman is workin' hard to get her off too! Sally really captured the moment.

The deep skinny hull makes the boat slick in the water; once moving she keeps moving!
